how we can help

we can help you in many ways

Osteopathy

Osteopathy is a form of manual medicine that emphasises the musculoskeletal system and its interrelationship with the rest of the body. We use a variety of techniques, including massage, stretching, joint manipulation (joint clicking!) to help improve mobility and reduce pain and stiffness. We focus on the underlying cause of health problems, not just the symptoms.

Acupuncture

We use thin needles aimed at certain trigger points in muscles aimed to reduce pain and tightness in the muscle. Acupuncture also aims to stimulate the body's inherent healing mechanism.

Rehab

Rehabilitation exercises are designed to help people recover from injuries or surgeries by strengthening muscles, improving flexibility, and restoring range of motion. These exercises can be tailored to your specific needs and can get your function and mobility back.

Lifestyle

Health has many influencing factors and we want to work out what positive changes you can make in your life to enhance your health and wellbeing. This can include advice on physical activity, balanced diet, managing stress, getting enough sleep, and avoiding harmful substances such as smoking and excessive alcohol.

Generally speaking, we tend advise that the longer you’ve had an issue, the longer it can take to improve. One treatment “cures” do happen, but typically most people have three to five sessions.
